Friends of The Yale-China Association (Singapore chapter), the Columbia Alumni Association of Singapore, the Penn & Wharton Club of Singapore, and the Harvard University Alumni Association of Singapore will be hosting a private screening of Cape No. 7 (海角七号). In this film, two storylines interweave into one plot connected by the thread of 7 unsent love letters. With romance, humor, beautiful scenery, and a cheery musical score, the film won the 2008 Grand Prize of the Taipei award at the Taipei International Film Festival.

Before the private screening, enjoy a Taiwan-themed dinner while watching the sunset and a panoramic view of the city. The opening remarks will be by Yale-NUS faculty Dr. Jessica Hanser, History Professor and the post-screening discussion facilitated by Professor Lee Kee Cheng, Theatre Studies.
